There’s another camera entering the fight for my love and hard earned money: the Panasonic DMC-L1. The price is only a few dollars +/- when compared to the D40 packaged with the 18-20mm lens. Both setups have their pros and cons, but the D40 wins where overall functionality is concerned IMO. But oh how absolutely in love I am with the rangefinder / Leica influenced design of the Panasonic!
