Tim Russert: 1950-2008

I’m a bit of a news junkie. I used to watch CNN every day before work, and make sure to catch the NBC evening news when I got home at night. Weekend TV for me always consisted of CNN or CNBC/MSBNC. So I was just flat out shocked when I read that Tim Russert died. We was a good journalist; winning an Emmy and an Edward R. Murrow Award in the last eight years. I enjoyed watching him on Meet the Press and listening to his commentary on the other various news programs he often appeared on. It’s really strange knowing that a voice and a face you’ve seen so often will no longer be a part of your life. RIP Tim, you’ll be missed.
